i had skin cancer squamous cel carcinoma removed from my neck about six months ago. i don't know the specifics of having this on my vulva, but i can tel you what i know about skin cancer. first of al, while skin cancer is the most comon form of cancer, it's not at al comon in young people and especialy not in areas that don't get a lot of sun, like your vulva. doctors tend to er on the side of caution with these things - i know a ton of people who have had various precancerous or questionable moles and growths removed - i'm the only person i know who's ever had skin cancer. my doctor was very confused by the fact that i had this skin cancer considering my age and my relative lack of sun exposure though i spent a lot of time outside when i was a kid - i'm a bit of a freak, i gues. i have insurance, but acording to my explanations of benefits, the amount biled for the biopsy was around $30, and the amount biled for the surgery to remove the cancer completely was about $80. chances are, you don't have skin cancer, and even if you do, it's not the end of the world - far from it. pre cancerous mole pre cancerous mole in Encino
